Painting VR offers realistic painting and brush behavior, lots of painting techniques, an in-app browser for references, and much more.

We helped Oisoi with creating a compelling 3D environment, some programming work, and distribution for PC VR.

Challenge: Oisoi was looking for an environment for their beloved paining simulator.
Solution: A lightweight environment that would work on the Quest, Quest 2, and more devices to come.
Approach: Creative brainstorms and moodboards, combined with some concepts and blockouts, helped Oisoi to define their vision very clearly.
Outcome: A gorgeous, colorful, and realistic environment that works on almost any VR device.

After a successful Kickstarter, Oisoi could expand the game’s look and functionality. That’s where we came in. While we were also working on a yet unreleased game mode, we created a breathtaking new environment to paint in.

From Quest to PC VR

At the same time, we looked into porting and publishing the game on other VR platforms. Not only Quest users, but also Rift S, Valve Index, and HTC Vive players can now experience the pleasure of painting.
